Hamstar

A Star Battle logic puzzle with hamsters. Every board has exactly one answer, and every answer can be reasoned out — no board ever requires a guess.

Hamstar is Star Battle, the puzzle also known as Two Not Touch, played with hamsters. Place one hamster in every colour region, every row and every column, and never let two of them touch, diagonals included.

Every board is checked by a solver before it ships: if it cannot be finished by deduction alone, it is thrown away. Hints follow the same rule. A hint names the square, the rule that forces it, and why, then applies it. It never simply uncovers an answer.

The game has no accounts and no server; progress is stored on the phone. Its only advertising is a rewarded video the player can choose to watch to carry on after losing a board — there are no interstitials.
